Nutrition and Health Awareness
The aim of this course is to make learners aware of the importance of good hydration and nutrition.  Learners will be introduced to the Eatwell Guide and learn about the different components that make up a healthy and nutritious diet. 

The course will explain the dangers of malnutrition and dehydration, as well as some other health concerns that can be affected by diet. It will also look at some of the factors that can influence a person’s diet, such as religious beliefs or allergies.
Finally, learners will be given some practical advice on what can be done to help ensure that everyone in their care remains hydrated and nutritionally healthy.
